Firm Overview

 The firm traces its origins to 1885 when Henry L Cook began practicing law in Fayetteville. He was later joined by four of his sons including John H. Cook and Alexander Cook. Alexander Cook’s son, Owen Cook, an Air Force veteran, practiced law from 1965 until his death in 2003. Carl Ivarsson joined the firm in 1988 and concentrates his practice in traffic and criminal law. Office Hours are 8:30am to 5:30pm Monday through Friday.

 My Philosophy

 The cornerstone of effective legal service is preparation. To this end, I work hard to complete your case in a timely and effective fashion. All clients should remain fully informed about the status of their case. I will send you copies of important documents regarding your case. It is my aim to render high quality, competent, professional service at fair and reasonable rates.

 All information you give anyone in my office well remain confidential.  In order to completely understand your situation and formulate a sound legal solution, we must have certain information from you. We request that you always keep us informed of your current contact information, especially your cell phone number and your email address. Effective communication between you and my firm is a key element of your relationship.
