Limited Driving Privilege
If you receive a level 3-5 punishment, your license will be revoked for 1 year. You may be eligible for a limited driving privilege which would allow you to drive to/from work and for educational purposes. You must get a substance abuse assessment and get a completed DL123 form confirming that you have auto liability insurance.
- Generally, if your blood alcohol level was .15 or higher, you will be required to have an ignition interlock installed on your vehicle as part of your limited driving privilege.
- Your ignition interlock must be installed by Monitech.
- DMV will require you drive for one year with an interlock before your license is ever reinstated.
